Annie Faye Meteer

Annie Faye Meteer, 88, of Corinth, MS, passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was born in Iuka, MS on April 9, 1930 to the late James E. and Martha Lloyd Lambert. She was a faithful member of Theo Church of Christ and retired from ITT/Cortellco after 36 years of dedicated service. Annie Faye has slipped from this life and into the hands of God. Her life was full of triumph, hope, and happy endings. Every moment was, to Annie Faye, an opportunity to give of herself and make her world a better place. She thrilled at the sights and sounds of nature, doting on her garden and flowers, and loved nothing more than traveling to see a different piece of the world than she had seen before. The only thing she loved more than growing her own garden was giving it away. Her greatest passion was her family. Every opportunity she had, she gave of herself to them. Her encouragement and love propelled them to their greatest successes, and comforted them in their hardest failures. Those whose lives she touched are richer for her love, stronger for her support, and deeper for her experiences. It is with sadness and joy that we celebrate her life, and thank her for the memories one last time. Visitation is scheduled from 12 PM till service time, Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Magnolia Funeral Home. A celebration of Annie Faye’s life will be held at 2 pm, Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories officiated by Minister Ron Adams. Interment will follow in Forrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers include Steve Blackard, Bill Dunn, Lucas Eaton, Joseph Jones, Steve Jones, Chain Owens, Eric Street, Jonathan Street and Chris Woodruff.
