Glenn Randolph Mauney

Glenn Randolph Mauney, 89, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2018, at his residence in Corinth, Miss. He was born on June 12, 1928, in Tippah County to Theodore Clinton and Olivia Mae Mullikin Mauney. On March 8, 1947, he married Annie Margaret Wallis and began a union that spanned 69 years until her death in 2016. For over forty years, he was a n employee of the Coca-Cola Bottling Works in Corinth, first as a route salesman and later as a district manager. He was a Christian and a member of South Corinth Baptist Church. Many will remember him by his nickname "Noby," but all who knew him will remember him as a man of character and strength who was a loyal employee, a devoted husband, and a loving father and grandfather. Mr. Mauney was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, and his parents-in-law Ira Clovis and Kate Morris Wallis; his son Phil Mauney; his brother Carl Dane Mauney; his brothers-in-law Jesse Hardon, Bob Wallis, Jackie Wallis, and James Irvin Dees; and his sisters-in-law Wanda Jean Dees and Lillie Wallis. He is survived by his children Tommy Mauney (Marcia) and Ann Mauney Little (Harold); his grandchildren Phillip Mauney, Matt Mauney (Heather), Clint Mauney, Brandy Smith, Cliff Little (Jana), and Anna Little Morris (Hunter); his great-grandchildren Chelsie, Bronson, Shelby, Daisy, Paisley, Lainey, and Lila; his brother T.C. Mauney, Jr. (Juanita) and his sisters Imogene Hardon and Barbara Huddleston (Jerry); a sister-in-law Betty Jean Mauney; a daughter-in-law Jill Holt Mauney; and many beloved nieces , nephews and friends. A service celebrating his life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 25, 2018, at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories in Corinth, followed by a private graveside service at Concord Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Charles Stephenson will officiate. Visitation will be at Magnolia on Sunday, February 25, from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service. Pallbearers will be Phillip Mauney, Matt Mauney, Clint Mauney, Cliff Little, Hunter Morris, Keith Mauney, and Mark Mauney. Honorary pallbearers will be Sandy Williams and the employees of Coca-Cola of Corinth.
