Leo Burkeen

Leo Burkeen, Jr., 70, of Collierville, TN, passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at St. Francis Hospital – Memphis, TN. He was born in Memphis, TN on February 14, 1948 to Walter Leo Burkeen, Sr. and Bernice Burkeen. He was a truck driver and of the Baptist faith. Leo Jr. will forever be remembered in the hearts of his family and friends. A celebration of Leo’s life will be held at 11 am, Friday, July 20, 2018 at Juliette Cemetery officiated by Bro. Timothy Guess. Family will serve as pallbearers. Magnolia Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Those left to honor Leo’s memory include his children: LeAnn Harrison, Andrea Stewart, Angela Burkeen, and Frankie Burkeen; 11 grandchildren; his mother: Bernice Burkeen; his sisters: Debra Wilson, Pamela Maxwell, and Regina Lawrence; his brothers: Vernon Burkeen and Michael Burkeen; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
