Molly Benjamin Forsythe

A Celebration of Life for Molly Benjamin Forsythe, 77 of Rienzi, MS, will be held Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at 10:00 A M at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with interment to follow at Forrest Memorial Park. Bro. Jerry Kelly will officiate the service with Nellie Wren delivering the eulogy. Visitation will be Monday, July 17, 2017 from 6:00 P M to 8:00 and Tuesday, July 18, 2017 from 9:00 A M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home. Mrs. Forsythe passed away July 16, 2017 at Landmark Nursing home in Booneville, MS. She was born December 8, 1939 in Alcorn County, MS to Fred and Ruby Stacy Benjamin. She worked at the Wurlitzer Co and was a homemaker. Molly was of the Methodist faith and was a member of Bethel Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Felicia Morris and husband Danny of Rienzi, MS; her grandson, Benjamin Morris of Nashville, TN; her brothers, Smith Benjamin of Rienzi, MS, Jerry Benjamin and wife Martha Sharon of Rienzi, MS and Irb Benjamin and wife Martha of Jackson, MS; his sisters, Nellie Wren and husband Clyde of Rienzi, MS and Grace Gunter and husband Grady of Conway, AR; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Aaron "Big A" Forsythe, Sr.; her son, Aaron "Little A" Forsythe, Jr.; her father, Fred Benjamin; her mother, Ruby Stacy Benjamin; her brothers, Howard Benjamin, Oliver Benjamin, Joe Benjamin and Ed Benjamin; and her sister, Tense Edge. Pallbearers will be Burton Benjamin, Lee Benjamin, Johnny Fisher, Larry Byrd, Larry Benjamin and Bobby Conner. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Molly Benjamin Forsythe.
