A Celebration of Life service with Military Honors for Rev. Allen Milam, 89 of Corinth is set for Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at 2:00pm at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with interment in Magnolia Gardens. Visitation will be Monday, September 9, 2019 from 5:00pm-8:00pm and Tuesday, September 10, 2019 from 11:00am until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home . Born February 18, 1930 in Hornsby, TN, Rev. Milam left this walk of life from the MS State Veteran Home in Oxford to go to his heavenly home on Friday, September 6, 2019. He was a licensed minister with the United Pentecostal Church, Int. He was called to the ministry in 1948 and he touched many lives during the past 71 years. Before his death, he was the oldest living minister in the UPCI in the nation. Rev. Milam was a member of Zion Pentecostal Church and his mission was preaching and teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. He served on active duty in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Rev. Milam is survived by his wife of 18 years,Doris Milam of Corinth; son, David Milam (Tami) of Phoenix, Arizona; daughter,Dianne Kozam of Corinth; 5 grandchildren, Tracy Milam(Atsuko) of Peoria, IL, Justin Milam (Janice)of Ackerman, MS, Meleka Kozam of Soldotna, Alaska, Kamillah Kozam of London, England and Jacinda Dilworth (Courice) of Glen, MS; 8 great grandchildren, Alexander Milam of Sydney, Australia, Isaac Byrom of Chicago, IL, Johan Byrom (Keona) of Nashville, TN, Jacob Milam of Ackerman, MS, Benji Milam of Corinth, MS, Erica Heisey (Paul) of Okinawa, Japan, Katelyn Milam of Peoria, IL and Hannah Woodruff (Cody) of Nashville, TN; a great great granddaughter: Penelope Byrom of Nashville, TN; stepchildren, T.J. Smith, Michael Pegg (Melissa), Preston Pegg, Lisa Powers (Bro. Billy), Anna Browder (Kevin) and Hope Meeks (Ricky); step grandchildren, Jacob Pegg, Cody Pegg, Shannon Clifton (Jason), Danny Joe Mason, Samantha Wiggington (Michael), Dustin Browder, Ali Byrom and Katelyn Thomas; step great grandchildren, Colin Clifton, Jaden Clifton, Clayton Wiggington and Baylor Wiggington; other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Mabry Milam; mother: Alice Nunley; step daughter, Renee’ Kiddy and the mother of his children, Velma Milam. Pallbearers will be Jeff Oswalt, Darren Lynch, Giovanni Martinez, Christian Martinez, Jake Pegg and Cody Pegg. Honorary Pallbearers will be O’Neal Greer, Frank Greer, Luther Crum and Joe Rickman. Tracy Milam, Charlie Browning, Dr. Leonard Pratt, Rev. Merl Dixon and Bro. Billy Powers will officiate the service. Magnolia Funeral Home is honored to care for the family of Rev. Allen Milam.
