Brett Lamar Kitchens

A memorial service for Brett Lamar Kitchens, 56, of Southaven, formerly of Corinth is set for Sunday, October 6, 2019 at 2:00pm at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with interment to following in Magnolia Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday, October 6, 2019 from 1:00pm until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home. Born August 17, 1963 Brett passed away on April 12, 2019. He grew up in Corinth and was a member of the Corinth High School Class of 1981. He worked as Assistant Manager at Long John Silver's while in Corinth. Brett graduated from Baptist Memorial Hospital School of Nursing and was an RN for 13 years at Region One. He loved books, music, working and nursing. He is survived by his daughters, Rachel Celeste Worley and husband Tim of Minnesota and Jessica Bloomfield of Tele Viv, Israel; 2 grandchildren, Ryder Worley and Remee Worley; father, Ollis H. "Junior" Kitchens and wife Gloria of Southaven, MS; mother, Carolyn Sue Franks of Greenville, Texas; half sister, Amy McClanahan of Southaven, MS; other relatives and a host of friends. Brett is preceded in death by his brother, Brian H. Kitchens; paternal grandparents, Ollis, Sr. and Ruby Kitchens; maternal grandparents, Brooks and Rosetta Mathis and his stepfather, Larry Franks. Bro. James Lewis will officiate the service. Magnolia Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Brett Lamar Kitchens.
