Gilbert R.J. Spencer

Gilbert Spencer, 63 of Corinth went to his heavenly home on Friday, June 12, 2020 at Sanctuary Hospice in Tupelo, MS. Born September 16, 1956 in Memphis, TN., Gilbert was of the Baptist faith and a maintenance man at Grand Casino. He loved his family and friends and enjoyed drag racing, cruising on his motorcycle and traveling in the Smoky Mountains. Being the only boy in the family, with five sisters he was loved very much and spoiled and will be greatly missed. Rest easy little bother. Gilbert is survived by his 5 loving sisters,l Linda Shaw of Kossuth, Peggy Burrows of Corinth, Katha Comeaux and husband Jerry of Florida, Diane Clement and husband Carl of Florida and Patricia Wood of Corinth; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his father, R.J. Spencer and his mother, Opal Markle Spencer. There will be a memorial service held at a later date.
