Leon Brose Nelms

Private graveside memorial service for Mr. Leon Brose Nelms will be held Thursday, August 27, 2020. Born January 4, 1933 in Corinth, MS., Leon passed from this life on Friday, August 21, 2020 at North MS Medical Center in Tupelo. He was a retired mail clerk for the U.S. Postal service and a member at Tate Baptist Church. Leon loved his family and friends and enjoyed doing yardwork and cleaning around the house. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Leon is survived by his sister, Betty Jo Worsham of Cherokee, AL; his nephews, Mike Worsham and wife Vicky of Cherokee, AL, Keith Worsham and wife MaeBeth of Tuscumbia and Herbie Rogers and wife Tina of Corinth; other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Hampton Brose Nelms; mother, Frances Louise Haygood Nelms; sister, Brosa Lee Rogers and husband Herbert; brother-in-law, Thomas Worsham; nephew, Tommy Joe Worsham and a niece, Donna Burcham. Bro. Herbie Rogers will officiate the service. Magnolia Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. Leon Brose Nelms.
