Ray Cochran

Ray Cochran, 79 of Rienzi, MS, passed away Sunday, November 15, 2020 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. A Private Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Mr. Cochran was born September 11, 1941 in Booneville, MS to Earl Barnett Cochran and Clara Faye Nunley Cochran. He was a retired heavy equipment operator. Ray was a fun loving man who was passionate about his work and had a strong work ethic. He loved his cattle, farming and his heavy equipment business. Ray was a perfectionist in all that he did and loved his family intensely. He was of the Christian faith. Ray is survived by his daughter, Mitz Mills and her husband Jerry of Middleton, TN; 2 grandchildren, Matt Martindale and Madison Martindale; 2 great grandchildren, Eli Martindale and Harper Martindale; a nephew and a niece, other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Cochran; his mother, Clara Cochran and her sister, Jean Bennett and husband Billy.
