Rita Jane Holley

Rita Jane Holley, 62 of Corinth, MS, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at her residence. No services are planned. Rita was born June 29, 1957 in Corinth, MS to Harold E. Blackwell and W. Faye McDonald Blackwell. She retired as an RN at Magnolia Regional Health Center after 25 years of service, where she was a Nurse Manager over Labor and Delivery for several years. She was currently working at Medical Plaza on Harper Road. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She gave unconditional love and was a selfless person. She was of the Baptist faith. Rita is survived by her son, Seth Sanders of Corinth, MS: 2 grandchildren, Haylie Malone and Destiny Malone; her sister, Rhonda Atkins of Corinth, MS; her niece, Lydia Holmes and husband Eric of Corinth, MS; her nephew, Clint Atkins of AR; other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Harold E. Blackwell and her mother, W. Faye McDonald Blackwell. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to LeBonheur Children's Hospital or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Rita Jane Holley.

I was shocked and saddened to hear about Rita today. I have memories of going to Sunday school with her at Harper Road Christian Church and working at Magnolia Hosp.I a!so enjoyed talking with her at Medical Plaza. She was a sweet human being and a good friend.I will miss her and can't wait to see her again ..

Rita was a very special person. She was kind and friendly and had a great sense of humor. She was a caring person and it showed in her actions. I enjoyed working with her at the hospital and seeing her when I went to Medical Plaza. She will be missed.

She is sure going to be missed . Dad and mom loved her for she was always so good to them . I can't remember her ever saying anything bad about anyone. . She was just a sweet person and Christian . Fly high Rita . Will see you again one day .
