Ruby Ashcraft

A Celebration of Life service for Ruby Joyce Ashcraft, 73 of Corinth, MS will be Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 2:00 P M at Church of The Crossroads with interment to follow at Forrest Memorial Park. Rev. Nelson Hight and Rev. Larry Hill will officiate the service. Mrs. Ashcraft passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at her residence in Corinth, MS. She was born in MS on November 12, 1944 to H. L. and Eula A. Smith Price. She was a secretary and did office work at various places. She was a Christian and was a member of Church of The Crossroads. Ruby enjoyed visiting shut-ins, watching and listening to The Gaithers and doing yard work . She loved her Tweenagers Sunday School Class, Tuesday Unique Ladies lunch and prayer group and playing Bunco. She cherished taking care of her beloved pet and baby Scooter. Ruby is survived by her son Jeff Ashcraft of Rienzi, MS; her daughter, Jennifer Ashcraft-Johnson of Oxford, MS; her four grandchildren, Tiffanie King (Nathan), Buddy Johnson (Elaina), Ben Ashcraft (Amanda) and Briana Ashcraft; her four great-grandchildren, Able Johnson, Griffin Ashcraft, Bexler Ashcraft and Rowan Ashcraft; her sister, Marjorie Harris of Ackworth, GA; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Bobby L. Ashcraft; her father, H.L. Price; her mother, Eula A. Smith Price; her brothers, Raymond Price, Shelby Price, C.B. Price, Bill Price and Ira Price and her sister, Reba Price. Pallbearers will be Buddy Johnson, Nathan King, Dr. Andy Holley, Steve Kizer, Glen Fowler, Johnny James, Rodney Johnson, Rodney Barnes and Kim Billingsley. Honorary Pallbearers will be her great-grandson, Able Johnson and the Tweenagers Sunday School Class. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Church of the Crossroads Portico. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mrs. Ruby Ashcraft.
