Thelbert Eudale Hill

A Celebration of Life service for Rev. Thelbert Eudale Hill, 84 of Fulton, MS, will be Monday, February 4, 2019 at 11:00 A M at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with Bro. Frank Panzrino officiating the service and Bro. Frank Wilson delivering the eulogy. Interment will follow at Itawamba Memorial Gardens in Fulton, MS with Masonic Rites at 1:45 P M. Visitation will be Sunday, February 3, 2019 from 4:30 P M to 8:00 P M and Monday, February 4, 2019 from 10:00 A M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home. Rev. Hill passed away February 1, 2019 at Sanctuary Hospice in Tupelo, MS. He was born April 26, 1934 in MS to Chet and Ludie Buchanan Hill. Rev. Hill served in many places across the South as pastor for 50 years, serving as State Missionary for 18 years. During that time he was responsible for starting, building and pastoring four churches and worked on seven state mission fields while helping complete several other churches. He was a member of Walnut Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Fulton, MS. He was a wonderful Christian man that enjoyed serving the Lord. He was a 32nd degree Mason and was a member of Corinth Lodge #116 Scottish Rite. He is survived by his daughters, Marsha Barry of Corinth, MS and Martha Eden (Lossie) of Fulton, MS; 5 grandchildren, Ricky Barry of Corinth, MS, Phillip Barry of Corinth, MS, Tyler Eden of Nashville, TN, Tanner Eden (Serenity) of Fulton, MS and McKenzie Eden of Fulton,MS; 2 great-grandchildren, Presleigh Barry of Corinth, MS and Jax Eden of Fulton, MS; his brother, Marzell Hill (Sylvia) of Ellisville, MS; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Effie McCord Hill; his father, Chet Hill; his mother, Ludie Buchanan Hill; his brothers, Copeland Hill, Bonnie Hill, Alvell Hill and Lavern Hill; his sister, Venditta McCarty and his son-in-law, Dickey Barry. Pallbearers will be Ricky Barry, Phillip Barry, Tyler Eden, Tanner Eden, Charles Rinehart and Wayne Odle. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Baptist Missionary Association of MS, Mission Office, 4226 Hwy 15 N, Laurel, MS 39440.
