Amelia Jamieson, beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and cherished friend, peacefully passed away on April 19, 2026, in Corinth, Mississippi. Born on July 21, 1956, in Corinth, Amelia's life was marked by deep devotion to her family and a passion for creating lasting memories with those she loved most.
A proud 1974 graduate of Corinth High School, Amelia furthered her education at Mississippi State University, where she graduated in 1979. Throughout her life, she embraced the values instilled in her during these formative years and carried them forward in her personal and family life.
Amelia was known for the warmth of her personality and the profound love she held for her family, especially her daughter, Kelly Jamieson. She found joy in spending quality time with those closest to her, nurturing relationships that brought comfort and happiness.
She is survived by her devoted daughter, Kelly Jamieson; her brother, David W. Lancaster (Ginger); her sister, Christy Lancaster (Ronnie Ryan); her nieces Laura Lancaster and Madison Mayhall; her nephew Jonathan Lancaster (Jaycee); as well as her great-nieces, Meri Klare and Korie Kate Lancaster.
Amelia was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Jamieson; and her parents, John Wesley and Eulene Lancaster, who laid the foundation of her strong character.
A visitation will be held on April 21, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and again on April 22, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, at Magnolia Funeral Home - East, located at 2024 Hwy 72 East Annex, Corinth, MS 38834. The funeral service will follow on April 22, 2026, at 11:00 AM, also at Magnolia Funeral Home - East. Dr. Randy Bostick will honor Amelia's memory by performing the service. Pallbearers will be Jonathan Lancaster, John Wilson, Ronnie Ryan, Taylor Burns, Dakota Clark and Paul Johnson.
Amelia Jamieson's life was a testament to love, dedication, and family unity. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her and will remain forever in the hearts of her loved ones. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Ms. Amelia Jamieson.
