Ann Gipson

A Celebration of Life Service for Ann Gipson, 70 of Corinth, MS, will be Sunday, August 17, 2025 at 2:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home – East Chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday, August 16, 2025 from 5:00 P M to 8:00 P M and Sunday, August 17, 2025 from 12:00 P M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home – East. Bro. Michael Page and Bro. Warren Jones will officiate the service. Mrs Gipson passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at North MS Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. She was born August 12, 1955 in Dyersburg, TN to Shelton Eugene Barron and Alice Clark Barron. She was employed as an electronics associate at Walmart for 31 years and was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church. She loved going on cruises, spending time with her grandchildren and going to church. She enjoyed watching wrestling and having lunch with Mama’s girls. Ann is survived her daughter, Penny Crum (David) honorary daughter, Stephanie Logan; two grandchildren, Nathan Crum and Toby Crum (Allyssa Wilkerson); her best friend, Jane Parker; her companion, James “Honey” Shipman and his sons, David Shipman (Sue) and Danny Shipman (Jessica); other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her great granddaughter, Willow LeeAnn Crum; her father, Eugene Barron; her mother, Alice Clark Barron; her brothers, Larry Barron, Billy Barron, Bobby Barron and Jimmy Barron. Pallbearers will be Danny Shipman, David Shipman, John Thorne, Chuck Knight, Charles Weathers, Scotty Morris, Billy Crum and Michael Crum. Honorary pallbearers will be Mama’s Girls, Jack Garner, Sammy Fortenberry, Robert Christie and Jerry Keller. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mrs. Ann Gipson.
