Audrey Elisabeth Rose Taylor, beloved daughter, cherished sister, and precious granddaughter, was born on January 13, 2026, in New Albany, Mississippi. Though her time with us was all too brief, Audrey’s presence radiated a quiet, profound joy that touched each life she encountered. On July 4, 2026, in Booneville, Mississippi, Audrey left this world, cradled in the love of her devoted family.
From her very first moments, Audrey was surrounded by warmth and tenderness. Through the gentle arms of her parents, Rev. Jason Taylor and Hannah Foster Taylor, and the loving gaze of her big sister, Alexander Grace Lee Taylor, Audrey experienced a world overflowing with hope and dreams. The prayers whispered over her and the lullabies sung to her were all tokens of the deep love her family held in their hearts.
Audrey’s arrival was a celebration for both her immediate and extended family. She became the light of her maternal grandparents, Terry and Angie Foster and her paternal grandparents, Jason and Michelle Taylor and the treasure of her maternal great grandparents, Rhonda Taylor and Jimmy Taylor and paternal great grandparents, Linda Taylor (John) and Vivian Tackett (Gary); numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and a host of people who loved her dearly. Audrey was enveloped in a family legacy steeped in faith, kindness, and endurance.
Audrey’s young life, though short, created memories that her family will carry forever. Each moment spent with her was a precious gift, a reminder of life’s fragility and the enduring strength of love. The loss of Audrey is felt deeply not only by those who held her but by all who hoped to watch her grow, laugh, and shine.
Among those who have gone before her are her great-grandparents, T.R. and Shirley Foster, Thomas and Garnett Boggs, and David Holmes. The family finds comfort in believing Audrey is now cradled in their waiting arms, enveloped once again in boundless love.
Audrey’s legacy is the mark she leaves on her family—a reminder to hold each day dear, to cherish each gentle smile, and to never take time for granted. She showed in her brief time what it means to love without bounds and to be loved beyond measure.
Family, friends, and loved ones are invited to gather and honor Audrey’s memory at Soul's Harbor Apostolic Church in Walnut, Mississippi. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and again on Sunday, July 12, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service honoring Audrey’s life will follow at 2:00 PM on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at the same location. Rev. Jason Taylor, Rev. Jesse Cutrer and Rev. Charles Cooper will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Terry Foster, D.J. Hensley, Matthew Taylor and Kerry Keesee. The Family request that everyone wear light, spring and summer colors.
Though Audrey Elisabeth Rose Taylor’s time on earth was brief, the love she inspired and the lessons she gifted to those around her will remain, blooming quietly in the hearts of all who knew her. Her family takes comfort in remembering her gentle spirit and knowing that her memory shines on.
