Billy McAnally

The family of Mr. Billy M. McAnally, 78, of Rienzi, will have a memorial service to celebrate his life on Sunday, December 4, 2022 at Biggersville 1^st Baptist Church at 2pm. Mr. McAnally passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2022 at North MS Medical Center in Tupelo.

Bill was born in Sheffield, AL on January 16, 1944 to the late T. A. McAnally and Gayle White McAnally. He lived his early childhood on a farm in Michie, TN. The family moved to Corinth in 1956 and Bill attended Biggersville High School and upon his graduation in 1962 he served 4 years in the U. S. Navy. Bill returned to Corinth and attended NEMCC and UNA. He worked in several food service positions and made his career as a chef for AMTRACK and the oil and shipping industries.  Bill is survived by his son, Michael McAnally and wife Haile, his special love, Marilyn Wilson, brother, Danny McAnally and wife Donna, sisters, Pam Detiveaux and Brenda Perkins and husband Greg; other relatives and a host of friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Bobby McAnally and Thomas McAnally and six half siblings, all of whom he loved dearly.
