Funeral services for James Robert "Bob" Hicks, 84 of Corinth are set for 2pm Friday, October 23, 2026 at Magnolia Funeral Home - East with interment in Christ Gospel Tabernacle Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, October 22, 2026 from 5pm-8pm and Friday, October 23, 2026 from 12pm-2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home - East. Bro. Dan Roseberry and Bro. James Voyles will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Cody Brown, Gary Roseberry, Terry Roseberry, Bubba Hicks, Cedric Parker and Bryson Hicks. Kevin Gurley will serve as an honorary pallbearer.  Born November 15, 1941 in Ohio, Mr. Hicks passed from this life on Wednesday, October 21, 2026 at his home in Corinth. He was a retired maintenance worker and of the Chrisitan faith. He loved his family and cherished the time he spent with them especially time spent playing with his grandchildren. He enjoyed going to church, mowing his yard, fishing and setting on his front porch talking to his family and friends. Bob is survived by his son, Daniel Hicks; daughters, Janice Roseberry (Bro. Dan), Connie Mayes and Patsy Hicks; 16 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; brother, David Hicks (Annie) and George Hicks (Annie); sister, Alice Bray; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mavis Hicks; granddaughter, Jessica Hicks; parents, Emanuel and Vera Hicks; brothers, Bo Hicks, Manuel Hicks, L.D. Hicks and Kenneth Hicks; sisters, Barbara Hubbard and Clara Fay Null and his half brother, Jimmy Ray Smith. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Bob Hicks.
