Brandy Mathis

A Celebration of Life Service for Brandy Mathis, 47 of Corinth, MS, will be Thursday, February 22, 2024 at 6:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home – East Chapel with burial in Cypress Grove Cemetery.   Bro. Billy Glover will officiate the service.  Visitation will be Thursday, February 22, 2024 from 4:30 P M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home – East.  Mrs. Mathis passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at her residence.  She was born May 8, 1976 in Sheffield, AL to L.W. Smith and Susan Parsons Mills.  She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.  She enjoyed kayaking, watching The Golden Girls and gardening.  She had a green thumb and could grow anything.   She loved spending time with her family and was an animal lover.  Brandy is survived by her son, Mason Lloyd Mathis; her 4 grandchildren, Piper Mathis, Amory Mathis, Gemma Mathis and Kohen Mathis; her father, L.W. Smith; her mother, Susan Mills; her sister, Holly Smith; her nephew, Kamden Barnett; other relatives and a host of friends.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Lloyd Mathis; her step mother, Gail Smith and her step father, Mike Mills.  Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Brandy Mathis.
