A graveside service for Buddy Mask, 83 of Michie, TN will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at Lorraine Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Johnny Creasy will officiate the service. Pallbearers include Jonathan Mask, Jarrett Mask, Colton Mask, Dalton Fulcher, Keith Barnes, and Kyle Barnes. Buddy was born February 5, 1943, in Guys, TN and he passed away Sunday, April 12, 2026, in Michie, TN. He spent much of his life working independently as a skilled welder, a trade he carried with dedication and pride. He was a man of the Baptist faith and a devoted member of Merton Avenue Baptist Church. Outside of work, Buddy felt most at home in the outdoors—whether he was hunting, fishing, or tending to his garden. Above all, he cherished the moments shared with his children and grandchildren, finding his greatest joy in the time spent with them. Those left to honor his memory include his wife of 64 years, Shirley Mask; sons, Kenny Mask (Bonnie) and Johnny Mask (Kim); grandchildren, Felicia Russom (William), Jonathan Mask (Libby), Jessica Mask, Brooke Fulcher (Dalton), Colton Mask, Jarrett Mask (Caty); great grandchildren, Tyler Russom, Allison Kate Russom, Ivy Mask, Greyson Fulcher, Ella Claire Fulcher, Adaline Carter Mask; sisters, Mary Cresy (Johnny), and Sarah Herring; other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Junior Mask (Tammy); parents, Bynum and Alice Mask; sisters, Maxine Feazell, Marie Russell, and Doris Milam and brother-in-law, Dewayne Herring.
