Funeral services for Dorothy Caroyln Gailor, 78, of Corinth are set for 2 pm Thursday, March 12, 2026 at Magnolia Funeral Home - South Chapel located at 741 HWY 45 South with interment in Rienzi Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, March 12, 2026 from 12pm-2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home - South Chapel. Bro. Raybon Richardson and Dr. Randy Bostick will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Ricky Perry, Tim Perry, Chris Weatherbee, Matthew Owens, Will Steward and Dennis Toll. Mrs. Gailor passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2026 at her home in Corinth. She was born February 17, 1948 to Willie and Victoria Perry in Rienzi, MS. Carolyn was survived by her husband of 51 years, Lowery "Dicky" Gailor; daughter, Cindy Steward (Keith); stepdaughter, Angie Toll (Dennis); 3 grandchildren, Will Steward, Delaney Steward and Matthew Owens; her sisters, Joyce Weatherbee of Rienzi and Mary Kathryn Smith (Billy) of Birmingham; brother, William Perry (Mildred); sister-in-law, Barbara Perry of Birmingham; nieces and nephews, Debbie Fisher, Pam Bryant, Dayna Patrick, Terri Smith, Ricky Perry, Tim Perry, Chris Weatherbee, Tony Smith and Patrick Smith; other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Victoria Perry; brothers, James Perry and Walter "Perk" Perry; brother-in-law, Bobby Weatherbee and her sister-in-law, Jolene Perry. The family would like to extend their heartfelt Thanks to Gentiva Hospice and especially to Courtney Smith and Laura Brown. To Mary and Sheila, thank you for the compassion, dignity and comfort you provided to our loved one during her final days. Your kindness, patience, and gentle care meant more to our family than words can say. Knowing she was surrounded by such attentive and caring people brought us great peace during a very difficult time. We will always be grateful for the support and humanity you showed our family.
