Cathy Richardson

A Celebration of Life service for Cathy Richardson, 78 of Corinth, MS, are set for Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Magnolia Funeral Home – East Chapel with interment to follow at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Trent Nethery will officiate the service. Visitation will be Saturday, May 29, 2021 from 12:00 noon until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home – East. Mrs. Richardson died peacefully in her home surrounded by family on May 27, 2021. Mrs. Richardson was a lifetime member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church. She retired from General Electric of Memphis, in 1996 and returned to her childhood family place in Corinth. She and her husband, Bobby, enjoyed their mutual hobby of raising champion beagle puppies and competing in field trails. She had a love of animals, gardening and cooking. Her greatest blessing in life were her family and friends. She had a kind heart and always let her light shine. Rest in peace, sweet Mama, we love you and know your light will shine down on us from heaven. Survivors are her husband of 37 years, Bobby Richardson: her daughters, Rhonda Avant (Joe), Dawn Brock (Lonnie): her son, Bobby Richardson Jr (Lisa); eight grandchildren, Joseph Avant, Garrett Avant, Chad Avant, Hunter Richardson, Devon Richardson, Summer Tyer, Joseph Brock, and Tyler Brock; eleven great grandchildren; her brother, John Wilbanks, and Jo Wilbanks; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. She was proceeded in death by her, father, Mac Wilbanks; her mother, Frances Wilbanks and her sister, Carolyn Newcomb. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mrs. Sarah Catherine Richardson.
