Chad "Rooster" Wilson

Funeral services for Chad "Rooster" Wilson, 46 of Burnsville, MS  are set for 2pm on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Snowdown Church of Christ in Booneville with interment in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, July 11, 2025 from 5pm-8pm at Magnolia Funeral Home - East Chapel and Saturday, July 12, 2025 from 12:30pm - 2pm at Snowdown Church of Christ. Born December 5, 1978 in Corinth, MS, Chad passed from this life on July 6, 2025 at his home in Burnsville.  Bro. James Voyles will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Nathan Wilson, Caleb Wilson, Corey Wilson, Jay Childers, Chuck Landry, Tony Moss and Ethan Pearson. Honorary Pallbearers will be the 2nd District Crew, Keven Moss, Nathan Wigington, Bobby Lambert, Noah Wigington, Chad Harville, Jarret Thomas and Cooper Hopkins.  He worked for the 2nd district of Alcorn County and was a member of Snowdown Church of Christ. Chad loved his family and friends and spending time with them. His favorite past times were fishing, hunting, rock hunting, gardening and taking care of his chickens. He loved working and was always a kindhearted person. He loved people and never met a stranger. Chad is survived by his wife, Misty Wilson; son, Nathan Lee Wilson; father, Donald E. Wilson; mother, Marilyn Duncan Wilson; stepson, Caleb Russell; stepdaughter, Kerstein Hardison (Ethan); step grandson, Everrett Chase Hardison; brothers, Caleb Wilson (Mel) and Corey Wilson; niece, Autumn Wilson; mother-in-law, Camille Galloway; brother-in-law, Chris Galloway (Angel); other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his; paternal grandparents, William Ed and Willard Wilson and his maternal grandparents, Lawrence and Juanita Duncan.
