Charles Curtis

A celebration of life service for Charles Curtis, 82, of Corinth, MS is scheduled for 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Magnolia Funeral Home – East with interment to follow in Farmington Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Floyd Lamb and Bro. Harold King will officiate the service. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Magnolia Funeral Home – East.

Charles was born on September 1, 1943, in Iuka, Mississippi, and entered into rest on Monday, December 15, 2025, in Corinth, Mississippi. A man of steadfast faith, he was a devoted member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church. For 40 years, Charles worked in maintenance at Intex Plastics, where his dedication and pride in his work were evident to all. Remarkably, he never missed a single day on the job—a testament to his reliability and strong work ethic. Outside of work, Charles found joy in fishing, especially alongside Paula, his faithful companion in life and on the water. Though he often spent time tending to the yard, it wasn’t a pastime he particularly enjoyed; rather, it was another responsibility he took seriously, ensuring every task was completed with care.

Those left to honor Charles’ memory include his wife of 44 years, Paula Curtis; children, Keith Curtis (Carla), Laura Fowler (Kerry), Babs Curtis Adams (Tim), and Tara Yarber (Jason); grandchildren, James Christian Curtis, Callie Fowler, Seth Curtis, Olivia Mitchell (Logan), Hunter Walker (Lea), Gracey Viola, and Annie Yarber; great grandchild, Kaden Curtis; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his son, Jim Curtis; parents, Roy and Laverne Curtis, and sisters, Audra Paden (Bobby) and Barbara Price.
