Charley W. Ludlow

Funeral services for Charley Watkin Ludlow, 84, of Oakland, TN are set for Monday, June 27, 2022 at 11am at Magnolia Funeral Home- EAST with interment to follow in Liberty Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, June 27, 2022 from 10am until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home - EAST. Bro. Michael Holloway will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be James Ludlow, Wendell Pettigrew, Dr. William Burney and Jimmy Calvary. Born May 8, 1938 in Ludlow, Oklahoma, Charley passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at his home in Oakland. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Rossville. Charley loved his family and friends and enjoyed gardening and being with his church family. He was a very giving man and always had to be busy doing something. Charley was a proud member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma.  Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Vicky Pettigrew (Wendell) and Esther L. McCoy; son, James W. Ludlow; 3 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; his stepsons, George Robert Hutchcraft (Carol) and John Earl Hutchcraft; 10 step grandchildren; 13 step great grandchildren; 4 step great great grandchildren; sisters, Dora Walls and Martha Smith; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his wife of 19 years, Ollie Calvary Ludlow; one grandson; father, Thomas Ludlow; mother, Esther Goodwin Ludlow; stepsons, Willie Everett Hutchcraft, Donald Ray Hutchcraft and Dale Hutchcraft; stepdaughters, Debra Hutchcraft and Victoria Sue Porter, one step granddaughter and his brothers, Ray Ludlow and Steve Ludlow.
