Funeral services for Chris Stanley, 42 of Walnut are set for Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at 11am at Magnolia Funeral Home - EAST with interment in Campground Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, June 16, 2025 from 5-8pm and Tuesday, June 17, 2025 from 10am -11am at Magnolia Funeral Home - EAST. Bro. Doc Dollar and Bro. Gary Porterfield will officiate the service. Born June 24, 1982 in Selmer, TN., Chris passed from this life on June 11, 2025 in Memphis, TN. He was an instrument technician for TKE in Middleton and of the Christian faith. He was a peace maker; he never liked conflict or negative talk about anyone. Chris' world revolved around his children and his fiancée. He enjoyed fishing, frog gigging, hunting, water skiing, weightlifting and hunting four leaf clovers. Chris is survived by his son, Bentley Stanley; daughter, Paityn Williams Stanley; father, Doug Stanley; mother, Peggy Stanley; fiancée, Misty Garvin and her children; a host of other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his brother, B. J. Tennyson; maternal grandparents, Maggie Lee Briggs and J. R. Lancaster; and his paternal grandparents, Dewitt and Evelyn Stanley.
