Funeral services for Claude H. Yager, Jr.,  88 of Corinth are set for Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at 2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home - East Chapel with interment in Dogwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 23, 2026 from 5pm-8pm and Wednesday, June 24, 2026 from 12pm until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home - East. Dr. Randy Bostick will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Deric Smith, Stephen Yager, Weston Yager, Jake Arnold, Brentton Yager, Isaac Yager and Adam Norvell; Honorary Pallbearers will be Chris Webb, Greg Copus and Robert Petrone. Born May 30, 1938 in Michigan City, MS., Mr. Yager passed from this life on June 19, 2026 at his home in Corinth. He was a retired Claim Representative for the Social Security Administration. He was a member of Oakland Baptist Church  where he was a former Sunday School Superintendent, inactive Deacon, Training Union Director and Church League Softball Coach. Mr. Yager was an avid sports fan. His unconditional love for his wife, children and grandchildren is everlasting. He is survived by his daughter, Cindy Yager Arnold (Scotty); sons, Miles Yager (Windy), John Yager (Shannon) and Deric Smith (Catherine Petrone); 15 grandchildren, Ellice Yager, Amanda Arnold, Katey Norvell (Adam), Jake Arnold, Cassidy Arnold, Taylor Lowrey, Stephen Yager, Brentton Yager, Isacc Yager, Cain Gartman, Weston Yager, Rainey Burress (Chapman), Lane Ross (Gracie Sellers), Robbie Petrone and Sadie Smith; 8 great grandchildren; other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Ilene Nelson Yager, son, Elliston Yager; father, Claude Henry Yager, Sr. ; mother, Edith Mildred Sides Yager; and sisters, Patricia Ann Boone and Kaye Griffin. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Claude Henry Yager, Jr.
