Connie Rogers

A Celebration of Life Service for Connie Rogers, 80 of Corinth, Ms, will be Friday, October 10, 2025 at 2:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home – South Chapel on 45 South with interment to follow in Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Raybon Richardson will officiate the service. Visitation will be Thursday, October 9, 2025 from 5:00 P M – 8:00 P M and Friday, October 10, 2025 from 1:00 P M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home – South. Mrs. Rogers passed away Monday, October 6, 2025 at North MS Medical Hospice in Tupelo, MS. She was born October 8, 1944 in Louisville, Kentucky to William ‘Bill” William and Harriett Southerland Williams. She retired as a secretary at Commerce National and was a member of Union Baptist Church. She enjoyed taking care of her flowers and yard, cooking, watching football and golfing. She loved spending time with her grandson, Dalton. Connie is survived by her husband of 60 years, James D. “Buddy” Rogers; her son, Jimmy Rogers (Beverly); her grandson, Dalton Rogers; her brother, Bill Williams (Barbara); her sisters, Carol Briggs and Cheryl Hurley; her sisters-in-laws, Linda Meeks and Phoebe Smith (Wade); close friend, Bill Page; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her father, William “Bill” Williams; her mother, Harriett Southerland Williams and her brothers-in-law; Billy Ray Briggs, Havis Hurley and Elmer Meeks. Pallbearers will be Ken Briggs, Lucky Briggs, Chad Cornelius, Matt Meeks, Terry Waldon and Wade Moore. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mrs. Connie Rogers.
