Danny Ray Bumpas

A Celebration of Life Graveside service for Danny Ray Bumpas, 65 of Walnut, MS, will be Sunday, August, 1, 2021 at 1:00 P M at Community Pentecostal Church Cemetery. Rev. Jesse Cutrer and Rev. Tim Wilbanks will officiate the service. Danny was born on August 29, 1955 to L.C. and Bernice Bumpas on what is now the site of Magnolia Regional Hospital. He was 65 years old when he felt the call and answered from his Master to come home. He was married to the love of his life for 41 years, the former Mary Jane Wilbanks. He was preceded in death by his parents, L.C. and Bernice and his mother and father-in-law, Wayman and Vyfie Wilbanks. He leaves behind one daughter, LaCosta Morphis, one granddaughter, Brianna Nelson and one grandson, Jordan Nelson all who loved him whole-heartedly with a passion. He also leaves behind two brothers, Phil and Steve to remind us of him, carry on the name, another later in life brother, Chris. He was a retired USPS transport driver for 20 years.
