Danny Kiddy

A Celebration of Life Service for Danny Kiddy, 73 of Corinth, MS, will be Sunday, August 14, 2022 at 2:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home – East Chapel with interment to follow at Henry Cemetery.  Rev. Donnie Davis and Rev. Rodney Whittemore will officiate the service.  Visitation will be Saturday, August 13, 2022 from 5:00 P M to 8:00 P M and Sunday, August 14, 2022 from 1:00 P M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home – East.  Mr. Kiddy, a life long resident of Corinth, MS, passed away unexpectedly at his home Wednesday, August 10, 2022. He was born August 21, 1948 in Corinth, MS to William Carroll Kiddy and Myrtle Lois Reynolds Kiddy.  He was a member of Central Baptist Church and was the owner of Kiddy’s Body Shop.  Danny was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and son-in-law.  He enjoyed cooking for his family and spending time with his grand kids.  He was a caring man continuously involved in many church activities, including playing guitar during church services and working in the church garden.  He was well known for his love of Christmas and a stunning outdoor Christmas display.  He took pride in his beautiful yard and garden. 

Danny’s favorite pastime was racing and watching Nascar.  He developed a love of cars at an early age that proved to be his life-long career.  He was able to build a successful business that spanned 56 years. 

He had a enormous heart for others.  He was compassionate and charitable to everyone he met.  He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. 

Danny is survived by his wife of 29 years, Debra Kiddy; his daughters, Amy Duncan (Darrell) and April Holley (Cory); his step-sons, Justin Miller (Katie) and Jason Miller; 11 grandchildren, Bryce Duncan, Brylee Kate Duncan, Macadyn Holley, Palin Holley, Kaylee Miller, Jacob Miller, Corbin Miller, Amber Miller, Phoenix Miller, Arwen Miller and Venus Miller; his brothers, George Kiddy (Shirley) and Buford Kiddy; his sisters, Melba Wallace, Nelda Whittemore (Bobby) and Rita Sharon Smith (David); his father-in-law, Rev. Frank Wilson (Inez); numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.  He was preceded in death by his father, Carroll Kiddy; his mother, Lois Kiddy and his mother-in-law, Dollie Wilson.  Honorary pallbearers will be Marvin Dabbs, Barry Pace and Mike King.  Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Danny Kiddy
