Born on June 6,1963, he worked as a local Frito Lay route delivery driver. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Biggersville First Baptist Church. Darl was an avid hunter and a devoted racing fan, with a passion that carried him well into his later years. At 50, he even embraced a midlife adventure by climbing behind the wheel of his own micro mini sprint, chasing the thrill of the track himself. Nearly every summer Saturday night, he could be found at Riverside Speedway in West Memphis, AR, racing as he loved so much, until his health no longer allowed it.

Yet, above all his accomplishments and the many titles he held in life, none meant more to him than being “PawPaw D.” to his six grandchildren, they were a source of endless joy, and no matter which one was near, they always had the power to light up his face to get a little sideways grin out of him.

He is survived by his wife of six years, Laura Parvin; his daughter, Nicole Davis (Brad); his son, D.C. Parvin, Jr. (Bethany); his stepson, Aaron Wilbanks (Faith); his grandchildren, Braden and Dylan Davis, Mason, Lillian and Daveigh Parvin, Kassie Mckenzie; his sister, Kelly A. Rogowski (Ron) of Munford, Tn. He is also remembered with love by his nieces and nephew, Cortney Tankersley (Clayton), Zach Rogowski (Amy) and Tiffany Orman (Keith) and six great-nieces, Raelyn and Wrenlee Tankersley, McKinley, Adalyn and Zoe Rogowski and Hazleigh Mann; mother-in-law, Charlotte Scott; brother-in-law Tommy (Kissie) Wilbanks; uncles, Everett, Gerald, Scott Parvin and aunt, Jane Johnson (Doug).
