Darlene Hamm

Phyllis Darlene Hamm, of Corinth, MS, passed away on October 11, 2025, at the age of 61. Born on February 3, 1964, Darlene was a proud graduate of Kossuth High School, where she laid the foundation for a life filled with hard work. Darlene was known for her love of family and friends. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, traveling, and cooking, sharing a meal with those she loved. Darlene was also a devoted fan of Ole Miss Football, passionately supporting her team with unwavering enthusiasm. She is preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Ray Hamm and her parents, Jay Bearden and Betty Bearden and is survived by her son, Micheal Ross; her grandson, Braxton Lane Ross; her brother, Keith Bearden (Cindy) and nephew, Jackson; her mother-in-law, Shirley Bearden; the father of her son, Ricky Ross (Connie) and Micheal’s siblings, Rainey Burress and Lane Ross. At her request there will be no funeral services but will be remembered for the kindness she extended to others. The family wishes to express how grateful they are to the staff at Tishomingo Manor for the compassionate care they provided. Special thanks are also due to Lenny “Bubba” Johnson, whose thoughtful gesture of bringing food to Darlene will never be forgotten. Darlene’s legacy lives on through the love she shared and the lives she touched. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
