David Lee

A Celebration of Life service for David Michael Lee, 73 of Rienzi, MS, will be Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Biggersville Pentecostal Church with interment to follow at Magnolia Gardens. Bro. Mike Lee and Bro. Wesley Basden will officiate the service. Visitation will be Friday, April 9, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Saturday, April 10, 2021 from 12:00 noon until service time at Biggersville Pentecostal Church. Mr. Lee passed away Thursday, April 8, 2021 at his residence. He was born January 14, 1948 in Long Beach, CA to William Clinton Lee, Jr. and Carthy Derrick. He was a member of Biggersville Pentecostal Church and retired as a rural mail carrier for the US Postal Service. David loved anything to do with antique cars, including going to antique car shows. He enjoyed fishing and riding his John Deere tractor. He served 8 years as Mayor of Rienzi, was a voluntary fireman and spent many years as a carpenter. David is survived by his wife 53 years, Martha Stewart Lee of Rienzi, MS; his son, Bro. Mike Lee and wife Jill of Burnsville, MS; his daughter, Jennifer Lee Jacobs and husband Ray of Corinth, MS; 2 grandchildren, Trent Lee and wife Shaleigh and Savannah Lee; his brothers, Ricky Lee, Gary Lee, Greg Lee and Tim Lee; his sisters, Pat Allen and Angel Stanfield; other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his father, W. C. Lee, Jr. and his mother, Carthy Derrick. Pallbearers will be Jeff Allred, Larry Bullock, Jonathan Mask, Joey Mask, Brad Brooks and Johnny Stewart. Honorary pallbearers will be Buddy Brooks, Billy Brooks, Noble Williams and Darris Bowen.
