A Celebration of Life service for Delbert Clyde Bowen, 93 of Guys, TN, will be Friday, April 22, 2022 at 3:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home – South Chapel with military honors. Interment will follow at New Hope Methodist Church Cemetery with Bro. Ben Martin officiating the service. Visitation will be Friday, April 22, 2022 from 1:00 P M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home – South. Mr. Bowen passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at McNairy County Health Care Center. He was born October 27, 1928 in Guys, TN to Charlie Eser D. Bowen and Zelma Crowe Bowen. He was a member of New Hope Methodist Church, a farmer and loved taking care of his cows. He served his country in the U S Army and was a devoted family man. He loved repairing volkswagens and always helped everybody. He was a person who saw the good in everyone. Delbert is survived by his wife of 67 years, Marie Dalton Bowen; his sons, Ronnie Bowen (Sarah) and Rickey Bowen (Cathy); 7 grandchildren, Misty Pierce (John), Brooke Qualls (Tyler), Jennifer Shchyschuk, Bradley Bowen (Ashley), Holley Vatalaro, Jordan Tinsley (Keisha) and Mica Tinsley; 13 great grandchildren, Henry Pierce, Jovee Qualls, Bowen Qualls, Alyssa Shchyschuk, Ty Shchyschuk, Ainslee Shchyschuk, Lilly Bowen, Layla Bowen, Kalee Vatalaro, Hunter Strickland, Charlie Tinsley, Hadley Ann Tinsley and Kinley Wilson; his sisters, Brenda Browning (Charlie) and Bettye Callis; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and an host of friends. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Debra Bowen; his parents; his brothers, James Bowen and Ernest Darris Bowen (Sadie) and his sister, Bonitha Rast (Johnny). Pallbearers will be Tyler Qualls, John Pierce, Jeff Browning, Todd Bowen, Ty Shchyschuk and Joe Booker. Magnolia Funeral has been honored to serve the family of Delbert Bowen.
