Delinda Mitchell

Delinda Mitchell, 74 of Corinth, MS., passed from this life on Jul 28, 2026 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born August 23, 1951 in Shelbyville, IN. No services are scheduled at this time. Delinda was a retired CNA who worked at Heritage Manor and Whitfield Nursing Home. She cherished her family above all else, and nothing brought her greater joy than spending time with them, especially her beloved grandchildren. Delinda enjoyed cooking and doing crafts of all kinds. She was an avid reader and collector of books. Delinda is survived by her sons, Gene Mitchell, Steven Mitchell (Bobbie Jean), Philip Mitchell (Cyndi) and Timothy Mitchell; daughter, Amanda Mitchell; 7 grandchildren, Lindsey Mitchell, Taylor E. Mitchell, McKenzi Mitchell, Breeyana Mitchell, Christopher Hutcheson, Jessica Rhoads and Cassondra Armstrong; 6 great grandchildren, Rylee Hughs, Jaxson Ligon, T.J. Tunstall, Easton Mitchell, Bruce Mitchell and Avynn Armstong; brother, Michael J. Crum; other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gene Alen Mitchell, Sr.; daughter, Linda Marie Mitchell and grandson, Stanley Mann.
