Derek Scott Beene

Derek Scott Beene, of Glen, MS, passed away Monday, December 20, 2021 at Magnolia Regional Health Care. He was born March 20, 1989 in Oklahoma City, OK to Phillip Beene and Janet Brown Beene Hodges. He retired from the Army and attended Church Of The Crossroads. Derek is survived by his wife of 12 years, Amanda Dicks Beene; his sons, Thomas Zebedee Beene, Elye Gabryll Beene, and Benjamen Mikele Beene; his father, Phillip Beene; his mother, Janet Brown Beene Hodges; his brothers, Joel Beene (Emily), Caleb Dicks (Taylor Ward), John Dicks (Sierra Zumwalt) and Aaron Hindman; his sisters, Lynora Roden (Eric), Adrianna Austin (Lucas) and Samantha Morris; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Derek Scott Beene.
