Funeral services for Dexter Sample, 95 of Corinth, MS are set for 2pm Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at Magnolia Funeral Home - East with interment in Henry Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 28, 2026 from 12pm-2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home - East. Dr. Benjamin Quinn will officiate the service with Brandon Quinn sharing a heartfelt tribute. Pallbearers will be James Quinn, Haydon Quinn, Porter Spiceland, Camp Quinn, Dawson Qiunn, Fletcher Quinn and Dexter Sample II. Born July 25, 1930 in Belmont, MS., Dexter passed from this life on July 24, 2026 at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. He was a member of Oakland Baptist Church. Mr. Sample graduated from Farmington High School. He was U.S. Army Veteran who served in the Vietnam Conflict. Dexter cherished his family and thoroughly enjoyed moments spent with them. He loved going on trips to the Great Smokey Mountains and enjoyed working in his yard and watching baseball and basketball. Dexter is survived by his son, Ricky Sample (Pam); daughter, Gayra Quinn (Mike); 5 grandchildren, Brandon Quinn (Hannah), Benjamin Quinn (Ashley), Phillip Quinn, Emily Spiceland (Jonathan) and Rick Sample (Tory); 14 great grandchildren; sister-in-law: Kathryn Samples; a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife of 72 years, Ruth Sample; parents, Porter and Lula Sample; brothers, R. D. Samples and Loutis Samples; and his sisters, Lema Jackson, Gladys Bingham, Audrey Tidwell and Luree Baker.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
