Donald R. Allen

Donald R. Allen passed away Sunday, August 8, 2010 at his residence in Corinth, MS at the age of 76. He was born September 14, 1933 to the late Willie Frank & Florence Latch Allen. He was a retired carpenter and a member of Wheeler Grove Baptist Church. He loved his family and friends and always put his family first especially his wife, Agnes. He enjoyed gardening , keeping his yard pretty and watching the Atlanta Braves play baseball. He is survived by his Wife of 51 years: Agnes Allen- Corinth, MS, a Son: Chris Allen and wife Vicki – Corinth, MS, a Daughter: Donna Benjamin and husband Jim – Corinth, MS, Granddaughter: Kacie Blakney and husband Chris- Corinth, MS Would have been the proud Great Grandfather of Lainey Grace Blakney due in October 2010, brother: Grady Allen and wife Melba – Corinth, MS, Sister: Shirley Horton and husband Hoyt – Corinth, MS, Brother-in-law: Milton Barker and wife Nell- Corinth, MS, Sisters-in-law: Elsie Allen, Lavada Allen both of Corinth, MS Pallbearers will be Randy Latch, Eddie Price, Dwight Wilson, Sammy Allen, Wade Allen, David Allen He is welcomed to Heaven by his Father: Willie Frank Allen, Mother: Florence Latch Allen, Brothers: Raymond Allen, Frank Allen and wife Daisy, Bobby Joe Allen, Dennis Allen and wife Violet, Marcus Allen and R.C.
