A celebration of life service for Donna Willis Russell, 70, of Corinth, MS will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Magnolia Funeral Home – East with interment in Campground Cemetery. Bro. Tommy Garrett will officiate the service. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Magnolia Funeral Home – East. Pallbearers include Jason Willis, Terry Cameron, Stan Johnson, Jerry Miller, Jaden Willis, and Anakin Jones.

Donna was born January 30, 1956, in Memphis, TN to the late John and Sue Hudson and she passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, in Tupelo, MS.

Donna’s world revolved around her grandchildren, and the love she carried for them was deep, fierce, and unmatched. She was a familiar, friendly face to many in the community, especially through her years at Dollar Tree, where people knew her by name and smile. Independent to her core, Donna took pride in doing things her own way. She enjoyed working in her yard, and no matter the temperature, she could always be found sitting on her patio, taking in the day.

She married Billy in 2012 — but that wasn’t where their story began. Donna and Billy had been together since 1995, building a life side by side long before their wedding day. From the moment they found each other, they remained devoted companions, walking through every chapter together.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Billy Russell; son, Jason Willis; daughter, Amanda Cameron (Terry); grandchildren, Anakin Jones, Jaden Willis (Skyler), Zoie Willis, and Bella Cameron; sister, Paula Johnson (Stan); several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and a host of friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the father of her children, Jimmy Willis and her in-laws, RC and Earline Russell.Magnolia Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Donna Willis Russell.
