Donnie Gant

Graveside services for Donnie Gant, 72, of Corinth are set Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at 11am at Magnolia Gardens on HWY 45 South. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 14, 2023 from 6 pm -8 pm and Wednesday , February 15, 2023 from 10 am until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home – South on Hwy 45 South.  Bro. Joey Everett will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Terry Rickman, Russell Wilbanks, Jeremy Gant, Eric Wilbanks, Evan Wilbanks, Tommy Gunther and Tony Downs. Born November 4, 1950 in Corinth, MS., Donnie passed away on February 12, 2023 at his home. Donnie spent over 40 years working at ITT, Cortelco, and managing Ringers before retiring to focus on farming, and the outdoors. He loved spending time outside growing tomatoes as well as being with his family that he loved above all else. Donnie took great pride in growing produce and raising catfish and being a source of love, support & laughter for his family and friends. 

Those left to cherish Donnie’s memory include his wife of 51 years, Charlotte Allen Gant; son, Jeremy Gant; daughters, Bridget Deanine Gant and Valerie Gunther and husband Tommy; 2 grandchildren, Maya Gunther and Victor Scott Gant; sisters, Peggy Wilbanks, Glenda Peters and husband Donnie and Judy Steed and husband Clark; other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Charlie Gant; mother, Gertrude Rickman Gant and his brother, Jim Max Gant. Magnolia Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. Donnie Gant.
