Funeral Services for Donnie Milligan, 83, of Counce, TN, are scheduled for 2:00 PM Thursday, September 2, 2021, at Childers Hill Pentecostal Church with interment to follow in Center Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Rex A. McGee and Bro. James Hopper will officiate the service. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Thursday, September 2, 2021, at Childers Hill Pentecostal Church. Donnie passed away at his home in Counce, TN, August 30, 2021. On December 20, 1937, he was born in Michie, TN to the late Leonard and Beulah Bryant Milligan. He was on the Pentecostal faith and a member of Childers Hill Pentecostal Church. He was a backhoe operator and the owner of Milligan & Son Construction. Those left to honor Donnie’s memory include his wife of 64 years: Maudie Parson Milligan of Counce, TN; son: Stanley Milligan of Counce, TN; daughters: Rebecca Henson and husband Ben of Counce, TN, and Donna Crotts and husband Kenneth of Savannah, TN; grandchildren: Natasha McGee and husband Rex “Peanut”, Seth Bromley and wife JoAnna, Jonathan Henson and wife Brooke, and Shiree Clemons and husband Zach; 9 great-grandchildren; step-grandchild: Carrie Crotts; sisters: Leevon Parson of Counce, TN, and Laurel Harville of Corinth, MS; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: C.G. Milligan, Mack Milligan, O’Neal Milligan, L.T. Milligan, and sister: Verine Parson. Pallbearers include Kenneth Crotts, Seth Bromley, Rex “Peanut” McGee, Jonathan Henson, Ben Henson, and Zach Clemons. Levi McGee will serve as honorary pallbearer. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Donnie Milligan.
