Funeral services for Doris "Dot" Jean Latch, 90, of Corinth are set for Sunday, January 8, 2023 at 2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home - EAST with interment in Magnolia Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday, January 8, 2023 from 12pm until 2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home - EAST. Bro. Seth Kirkland and Cory Carter will officiate the service. Born April 20, 1932 in Corinth, MS., Mrs. Latch passed away on Friday, January 6, 2023 at Dogwood Assisted Living in Corinth. She was a retired inspector for ITT with 40 years of service and a member of West Corinth Baptist Church. Doris loved her family and friends and enjoyed singing, listening to gospel music, reading her Bible and visiting with her friends and family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Doris is survived by her husband of 72 years, Eldon Latch of Corinth; daughters, Jan Carter of Brandon, MS and Debbie Moore of Corinth; 2 grandchildren, Cory Carter and wife Stacey of Ocean Springs, MS and Dylan Carter and wife Staten of Houston, TX; 2 great grandchildren, Avery Carter and Caleb Cater both of Ocean Springs, MS; sisters, Brenda Watkins and husband Gary of Bowling Green, KY, Glenda Harrison and husband Chester Wayne of Booneville, MS and Linda Hughes of Corinth; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Arnold Rider; mother, Beatrice Rider; brothers, James Robert Rider, Don Rider and Bill Rider, sisters, Sandra Jaudon, Fran Downs and Betty Reddell and sons-in law, Robert Moore and Ralph Carter.
