Edna "Beadie" Rodgers

A Celebration of Life service for Edna "Beadie" Rodgers, 83 of Corinth, MS, will be Sunday, March 15, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with interment to follow at Magnolia Gardens. Bro. Merl Dixon, Chaplin Karey Crawford and Jamie Basden will officiate the service. Visitation will be Saturday, March 14, 2020 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Sunday, March 15, 2020 from 12:00 noon until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home. Mrs. Rodgers passed away Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Creekside Manor in Saltillo, MS. She was born September 17, 1936 in Bruce, MS to Jake Daniel Stewart and Dorothy Glen Brooks Stewart. She was of the Pentecostal faith. She has a homemaker who worked at Wurlitzer, the Hosery Mill and Shoney's. Beadie is survived by her daughters, Edna Roberts (Travis) of Biggersville, MS, Doris Essary of Kossuth, MS, Virginia Smith (Leonard) of Rienzi, MS, Lisa Holloway of Corinth, MS and Christine Sellers (Gary) of Corinth, MS; her step son, Danny Rodgers of Germany; 15 grandchildren, Tom Roberts (Kasey), Anna Finkle (Eddie), Rebecca Ligon (Edward), Dusty Essary (Charla), Latasha Crow (Stephanie), Tiffany Wilbanks (Jeremy), Brittany Caradine (Billy), Ashley Aldridge, Whitney Vanderford (Brent),Terry Doles, Jr (Lisa), Timothy Doles, Randy Sellers (Gedgit), Trystal Harvell (Shane), Tiffany Saenz (Martin) and Zack Sellers; 38 great grandchildren; her brothers, Oscar "Monk" Stewart (Dade) of Kossuth, MS, Bobby Stewart (Katherine) of Kossuth, MS, Jerry Stewart of Rienzi, MS and Daniel Stewart (Sylvia) of Iuka, MS; his sister, Alline Hopper (T.A.) of Tiplersville, MS: numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Almous Gene Rodgers; father of her children, Roy Basden; 2nd husband, Cleveland Smith; her father, Jake Daniel Stewart; her mother, Dorothy Glen Brooks Stewart; her brother, William Stewart and her sisters, Louise Davis, Bernice Mitchell and Dorothy Stewart. Pallbearers will be Dusty Essary, Tim Stewart, Tim Doles, Shane Stewart, Tom Roberts and Doc Stewart. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mrs. Edna "Beadie" Rodgers.
