Eugene Peters

A Celebration of Life Service for Eugene Peters, 68 of Glen, MS, will be Saturday, September 3, 2022 at 2:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home – East Chapel with interment to follow at P & P Cemetery.  Bro. James Voyles will officiate the service with Johnny Paul Gibens delivering the eulogy.  Visitation will be Friday, September 2, 2022 from 5:00 P M to 8:00 P M and Saturday, September 3, 2022 from 12:00 P M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home – East.  Mr. Peters passed away Monday, August 29, 2022 at his residence.  He was born January 24, 1954 in Corinth, MS to William Leroy Peters and Nelda Jean Spencer Peters.  He was a construction contractor and of the Baptist faith.  He enjoyed cooking, going out to eat, stock car racing and driving a bulldozer.  He loved life, four wheeler riding, and spending time with his family.  Mr. Peters is survived by his wife of 34 years, Joan Peters; his sons, Justin Lindsey (Tiffany) and Tyler Peters; his daughter, Katie Peters (Randall); 7 grandchildren, Miles Garrison, Chloe Butler, Haylee Woodruff, Hayvan Woodruff, Preston Peters, Ashton Peters and Hunter Lindsey; his brother, Danny Peters (Linda Darnell); his sisters, Debbie Pace (Barry) and Beverly Mayhall (Tim); special nephew, Kevin Peters (Dana);  his sisters-in-law, Linda Peters and Dorothy Peters; his aunt, Louise Parker; other relatives and a host of friends.  He was preceded in death by his father, Leroy Peters; his mother, Nelda Peters; and his brothers, Maurey Peters, Jerry Peters and Dewayne Peters.  Pallbearers will be Brian Hale, Barry Pace, Todd Peters, Thomas Smith, James Stevens and R.L. Baker.  Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Eugene Peters.
