Fay Headrick

Fay Headrick, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2025, at the age of 80. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, September 29, 2025 at 11:00 A M at Magnolia Funeral Home – South on 45 South with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens. Visitation will be Monday, September 29, 2025 from 9:30 A M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home – South. Charles Vaughn and Robert Eberhardt will officiate the service.

Born on September 12, 1945, to George Vardaman Roberson and Mary Theresa “Estelle” (Cox) Roberson, Fay grew up with strong family values and a heart for others. In 1964, she married the love of her life, Kenneth Ray Headrick. Together, they shared more than 60 years of marriage marked by quiet service, hospitality, and a life centered around their Christian faith.

In the early 1970s, Fay and Ken settled in Corinth, Mississippi, where they built their family home. That home quickly became more than a house—it was a place of welcome and fellowship, where many found comfort, encouragement, and belonging. For years, they hosted Christian fellowship meetings there, and even after health limited their activities, the spirit of their home remained one of open doors and warm hearts.

Fay was known for her gentle spirit and her genuine interest in others. She rarely spoke about herself, but instead took great joy in listening, asking questions, and learning about the lives of family and friends. Her kindness, compassion, and quiet strength touched many lives and will long be remembered.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Ray Headrick; her children, Sherry Harbur (Randel), Randy Headrick (Maja), John David Roberson (Cara), Theresa Roberson, and Diana Rojas; her grandchildren, Bradley Harbur (Elizabeth), Duane Harbur (Kenya), Colleen Harbur, Ross Headrick, Grant Headrick, Riley Roberson, Reed Roberson, TJ Maness ; three great-grandchildren; one brother and one sister.

She was preceded in death by her grandson, Ashton Rojas; her parents, G.V. and Estelle Roberson and three brothers.

Fay’s legacy will continue in the lives of her family and in the many hearts she touched along the way.

Pallbearers will be Bradley Harbur, Duane Harbur, Ross Headrick, Grant Headrick, David Wentz, and John Roberson. Honorary pallbearers will include David Jernigan, Tommy Vandiver, Hector Rojas and Bryan Marshall.
