Fred Roberts

Fred Roberts, 81 of Corinth, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2024 at his home. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at Magnolia Funeral Home - EAST. A family graveside service will be held at a later date to be determined. He was born April 14, 1943 in North Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Fred Hawthorne and Velma Black Roberts. Fred worked in maintenance at Kimberly Clark for 25+ years. He was of the Christian faith and attended Church of the Crossroads. Fred loved his family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them, especially his grandbabies. He was an avid Arkansas Razorback fan, an animal lover and he loved watching Law and Order. He had a great passion for many years for singing in the Oakland Baptist Church Choir, especially during passion play. Fred is survived by his wife of 42 years, Mary Ann Roberts; daughters, Heather Nelms and husband Shawn, Stefani Gray and husband Rick, Lauren Peters and husband Tyler and Tammy Buckner; sons, Greg Roberts and Wendell Roberts and wife Amy; 15 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by a grandson; a great grandchild; his father, Fred Roberts; mother, Velma Black Roberts and his brother, Harold Roberts.
