Funeral services for Gilbert Lane Willis, 75, of Corinth, are set for Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home - South with interment in Lone Oak Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 16, 2026, from 12pm to 2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home - South located at 741 HWY 45 South. Bro. Tim Butler and Bro. Jimmy Moore will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Henry, Joey Henry, Mike Dees, Robert Rider, Buddy Ayers and Phil Crum. Born February 12, 1951, in Corinth; Gilbert passed from this life on Saturday, June 13, 2026, in Jackson, TN. He was a retired construction worker and a Christian. He loved spending time with his family, traveling and keeping his yard immaculate. Fishing was his favorite pastime and taking his boat out with his buddies, Mike Dees, Robert Rider and brother, David brought his immense joy. He won several fishing awards. He also enjoyed riding his Harley with Jimmy Henry and watching the Kansas City Chiefs. He loved being out in nature. Gilbert is survived by his brothers, David Willis (Leann) and Dan Willis (Katherine); sisters, Sandra Downs and Kim Butler (Tim); several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Roberta Willis; father, Leon Willis; mother, Ethel Willis Hall (Ernest) and his beloved dog, Buster.
