Funeral services for Gloria Ann Smith Wheeler, 80 of Walnut are set for 2pm Sunday, October 26, 2025 at Magnolia Funeral Home - South located at 741 HWY 45 South with interment in Pleasant Hill Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, October 25, 2025 from 5pm-8pm and Sunday, October 26, 2025 from 12pm-2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home - South. Bro. James Voyles will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Bryan Jackson, Bradley Jackson, Ashton "Bubba" Smith, Stanton Lee, Matt Bollig and Rylie Willis. Born July 18, 1945 in Louisville, Kentucky; Mrs. Wheeler passed from this life on October 22, 2025 at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. She was a homemaker who worked at various job which included nursing, factory work, waitressing and being a bail bondsman. Ann was a member of North Corinth Baptist Church. She loved her family and friends and spending time with them. She enjoyed cooking, fishing, taking care of others and making people laugh but the thing that brought her the most joy was going to the casino's. Ann is survived by her daughter, Lisa Ann Jackson (Tracy); sons, Freddie Wayne Smith, Michael Lynn Smith, Sr. and Michael "Pug" Lynn Smith, Jr. ; 6 grandchildren, Bryan Jackson (Monica), Bradley Jackson (Megan), Heather Bollig (Matt), Amber "Booboo" Lee (Stanton), Ashton "Bubba" Smith and Brittany Smith; 13 great grandchildren; brother, Larry Wayne Robertson; sisters, Carolyn McIntosh, Mary Louise Robertson Knight and Lula Marie McLeod (Eric); numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Wheeler; son, Rabon "Junior" Lee Smith, Jr.; daughter, Linda Ann Smith Stacy: 2 grandchildren, Hank Willis and Makayla Smith;1 great grandchild; father, Marion "Pops" Robertson; mother, Virginia Lousie Robertson; brothers, Walter Wayne Robertson and Marion Daniel Robertson; and the father of her children, Rabon "Alabama Red" Lee Smith, Sr. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mrs. Gloria Ann Smith Wheeler.
