Harold Clifford Little, 78, passed away on Friday, January 23, 2026, at his home in Glen. Born April 7, 1947, to Thomas Arch and Velma Kilcrease Little, he was a 1967 graduate of Alcorn Central High School. He was involved in many businesses, including sawmilling, road construction, and equipment sales. He served on the Board of the Northeast Mississippi Planning and Development District and was twice elected Supervisor of Alcorn County’s Second District. He was a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church and was a sinner saved by grace.
Harold was raised on his family’s dairy farm in Glen. He spent many happy days (and worked many long hours) on the farm. He loved sharing with others his part of the property, which he named Little Creek Ranch. There, he enjoyed God’s beautiful creation and cared for his many animals and pets. To his delight, his grandchildren are now the seventh generation to live on that land.
Those left to cherish Harold’s memory include his wife of 55 years, Ann Mauney Little; his son Harold Clifford Little II (Jana); his daughter Anna Little Morris (Hunter); a special nephew Jeff Little (Melanie); three grandchildren: Lainey Jackson Little, Harold Clifford Little III, and Lila Mae Morris; his brothers Travis Little (Doris) and Jerry Little (Joyce); a sister Peggy Wickersham; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers and their wives: James Little (Carolyn), Taft Little (Janie), Thurston Little (Helen), Bobby Little (Wanza), and Billy Little; his infant sister Neva Doris Little; his sister and her husband, Glenda Moore (Bill); his brother-in-law Mike Wickersham; and his dear friend, Nelson Potts.
Due to the recent ice storm, the immediate family will hold a private memorial ceremony; no public funeral service will be held. Had a public service been possible, pallbearers would have been Michael Doran, Matt McGee, Mitch Moore, Chip Peterson, John Little, Phil Little, Rodney Little, and Scotty Little. Honorary pallbearers would have been Bart Doran, Jerry Little, Mark Little, Travis Little, Trent Little and Brent Wickersham.
Condolences of friends and family are very appreciated and may be shared on the Magnolia Funeral Home website under the obituary page for Harold Little. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to local charities Home of El Roi (homeofelroi.org) or Living Free Ministries (livingfreecorinth.com).
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Leonard Pratt and Magnolia Hospice for going far beyond professional duties to care for Harold over his lengthy illness. The family especially thanks Rick and Deborah Wallin for their faithful visits, prayers, and encouraging kindness.
