Hermie Florence Monroe Turner

A service celebrating the life of Hermie Monroe Turner, 92 of Corinth will be held Monday, August 9, 2021 at 2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home – South Chapel with interment to follow at Shiloh Baptist Church. Visitation will be Monday, August 9, 2021 from 1pm until service time. Her grandsons and great grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Born November 10, 1928 in Blackland, MS to the late Curtis Ray and Florence Green Monroe, Hermie received the promises of her faith and met her Creator at her residence surrounded by her family on Friday, August 6, 2021. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother she left a legacy of Faith, Love and Determination, which through her consistent examples, she passed on to her family. She married Clayton Turner on March 9, 1945, a marriage of 75 years until Clayton’s death. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church where she served as Children’s Director.
