Funeral services for Hubert Wayne Baswell, 78 of Glen, MS are set for 2pm Sunday, September 6, 2026 at Magnolia Funeral Home - East with interment in Liberty Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, September 6, 2026 from 12pm-2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home - East. Minister Rick Jones will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Dunk Baswell, Johnathan Baswell, Robbie Cook, Brian Baswell, Byron Baswell and Victor Mincy. Born February 25, 1948 in Glen, MS., Mr. Baswell passed away on September 2, 2026 at his home in Glen. He was a retired carpenter by trade and of the Baptist faith. Hubert loved his family and spending time with them brought him immense joy. He enjoyed cooking, gardening, canning and fishing in his spare time. Hubert is survived by his brother, Jackie Baswell (Kay); special nieces, Sylvia Baswell, Brandy Baswell and Briana Cook (Robbie); other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his wife, Jeanine Baswell; father, Herschel Baswell; mother, Evelyn Baswell; and his brothers, Johnny Baswell, Billy Ray Baswell and Bobbie Jo Baswell.
